«Der kleine Prinz» won the 3rd Prize of the Rosenheimer Holzbaupreis.

The Rosenheimer Holzbaupreis has been carried out since 2006. It aims to award the architecturally high-quality timber buildings from the regions Southeast Bavaria, Salzburg and Tyrol.

In May 2020 Rosenheimkreis e.V. awarded the 5th Rosenheimer Holzbaupreis. Our project «Der kleine Prinz» in Munich won the 3rd Prize in the housing category.

For this project in the residential area Prinz Eugen Park in Munich, we contributed 15 apartment buildings and 24 atrium buildings in timber construction on behalf of the construction community, Der kleine Prinz GbR. The building owners have committed to using a high proportion of renewable raw materials since they applied for the land.

The expert jury stated that «"Der kleine Prinz" is a simple yet exciting contemporary housing project, which is also forward-looking in terms of the proportion of regenerative building materials it used.»

Together with our partners, Dressler Mayerhofer Rössler Architekten und Stadtplaner and Lieb Obermüller + Partner, we are delighted and grateful to receive this high recognition.
