Golden Lion: excellent recognition for the Swiss Pavilion at the Venice Biennale

The Swiss Pavilion was awarded the Golden Lion for Best National Participation at the 16th International Architecture Exhibition – La Biennale di Venezia, much to the delight of the young team of architects from ETH Zurich: Alessandro Bosshard, Li Tavor, Matthew van der Ploeg and Ani Vihervaara. The Swiss Arts Council Pro Helvetia, which commissioned the pavilion and was responsible for selecting and organizing the exhibit, was also very pleased to be recognized.

The Golden Lion is one of the most important international architectural awards and was awarded to the Swiss Pavilion for the first time.

We are thrilled that the project we support has been so successful.

You can still visit the Swiss Pavilion with its “Svizzera240: House Tour” project in Venice until November 25, 2018.
