The new medical center MedicoPlus in Einsiedeln integrates the medical care providers, specialists and their pharmacy in one building.
The construction period only lasted 14 months. The five-story building is an efficient timber construction, in which only the central access core is made of prefabricated concrete elements. Architecturally, the building presents itself with a non-covered treated wooden facade, which shows the building material directly. The overhanging eaves show a structured soffit in timber and provides additional weather protection.
